You Receive Loot: [Awesome New Guild]

November 13, 2009

Last night was my first time raiding with my new guild <Exile>(ironic considering my less-than-pleasant farewell with my previous guild, also ironically called Utopia), & I think I made a good decision. The people were friendly & awesome, but had the passion to push forward through content.

Come raid time I was ready at the entrance to ToGC fiddling with vent, when I notice everyone had gone. Apparently we were going to Uld to finish off Yogg so one of the guild healers could get his legendary. Of course I didn’t mind, the furthest I’d got in Uld25 was XT. One wipe on 5%, then a clean takedown.

Then it was off to ToGC25, which I was hella excited to do. 1 wipe on beasts, then Icehowl went down 5 secs into his enrage. Another wipe on Jrax, then he goes down clean too. By this stage I was noticing a pattern. So now it was Fac Champs. I knew that this guild had only downed them once before, so I prepared for a hard slog of wipes. We wipe about 5 mins in after what was a very promising start, then come back & lay on the smackdown. So my first time in ToGC25 & we’re at Twins with 47 attempts remaining. What a difference it makes raiding with people putting in 100%.

I also did pretty well at the DPS game, coming out tops in Fac Champs. Got a couple whispers congratulating me on a great first impression. You know what? I think I’m gonna like it here 😀

    Kheldul, respectfully, I disagree.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the drawings Van, you have immense talents and I only wish I could draw like that. But I also enjoy reading your stories. The pain (like your break with Utopia, /sad), the joy, the thrills (like making it to the Twins, /cheer!) and the heartbreaks, all of it is wonderful material. Keep writing and drawing! 🙂
